Résumé

The objective of this research project is to integrate 4D MRI data into blood flow modeling to enhance the accuracy and reliability of cardiovascular simulations. 4D MRI provides dynamic, spatiotemporal visualization of blood flow, offering detailed insights into cardiovascular structures and flow rates. By developing computational methods to preprocess, transform, and assimilate this data into numerical simulations, the study aims to bridge the gap between theoretical models and real-world measurements. This integration allows for improved comparisons with simulations, advancing our understanding of blood flow dynamics. The research focuses on refining data assimilation techniques, including mesh generation and the application of finite element methods using the FEniCS library, to model blood flow in the aorta accurately. The results contribute to more precise modeling of cardiovascular flows, which is crucial for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases.
