Résumé
This internship report investigates the structural and dynamical behaviour of charged, anisotropic colloids with spheroidal geometry. Motivated by experimental and theoretical interest in how particle morphology and electrostatic interactions combine to produce orientational ordering and non-trivial phases, we develop a theoretical framework and perform numerical simulations to quantify positional and orientational correlations. The work couples analytical considerations of anisotropic pair interactions and order parameters with numerical computations of correlation functions and anisotropy measures. Using Monte Carlo simulations adapted for charged oblate spheroids, we compute static observables such as the nematic order parameter, radial distribution functions, and orientational correlation functions. Our numerical results provide evidence of a shape-driven isotropic-nematic-like transition for oblate spheroids within the explored parameter range: transition points exhibit an approximately linear trend with respect to the control parameters investigated.
