Résumé

DSWs have recently been studied in nematic liquid crystals. Solitons can be formed under the name of nematicons. The propagation of a DSW is dictated by the nematic system including the electric field equation and the response of the nematic medium. The fifth order KDV equation then makes it possible to model the formation of DSW. The bores are formed by linear waves on the trailing edge and solitary waves on the leading edge. From a numerical simulation, different regimes can be observed when the non-locality coefficient of the medium varies. Some regimes already known as PDSW, RDSW, CDSW, TDSW and NLS bore are reached. A first theoretical framework is set up for the five different bores noticed. Some theoretical limits between the different regimes are obtained.
