Résumé
The battery management system (BMS) of an electric vehicle is a fundamental part whose main purpose is to provide states of charge of the battery. At the present time, the BMS is a decentralized wired system, which means that there is a manager that receive data from some slaves which take measures from the battery cells. Nowadays, cost and weight are important aspects in the car design process. So there are so many research initiatives focused on avoiding the addition of new wires into the cars. A BMS have some wires that make it difficult to build, add weight to the car, use some space and may cause some accidents. For these reasons, the focus of this work is to create a wireless BMS that let us delete some big wires in the car. In this document you will find the development process of our high reliable WBMS. This report is divided in two part, the first one is dedicated to the choice of the most appropriated wireless communication protocol and the second one to the physical implementation of our application working with the protocol chosen.
