Résumé

Tidal disruption events are energetic astrophysical phenomena that occur when stars approach supermassive black holes and are pulled apart by tidal forces. Several interesting coincidences between TDEs and high-energy neutrino events have been detected, but the evidence for TDEs as neutrino sources remains inconclusive. We aim to evaluate TDEs as possible neutrino sources in detail, considering physical models for both individual events and simulations of the astrophysical population as a whole. The results of these simulations will enable a deeper interpretation of the current observations as well as inform predictions for expected detections with future neutrino telescopes and optical surveys.
