Abstract
Psydac is a spline finite element library. It features numerically solving electromagnetic fields problems with a very user-friendly interface. This code uses another symPDE code, which allows you to perform symbolic expression calculations. These codes are very complex due to their size and level of abstraction. They therefore experi- enced structuration errors, which led to some not very user-friendly interfaces. This is particularly the case for the mapping interface: smooth functions which allow you to pass from the logical domain to the physical domain in finite element method. The objective of this internship was therefore to appropriate the Psydac and symPDE codes, propose then implement a new coherent mapping architecture, while preserving the integrity of the simulation results.
