Abstract

This study experimentally examines the installation effects on a multi-rotor small-sized aircraft using two propelelers. Initially, a force characterization was conducted for both propellers to identify the regimes for subsequent acoustic analysis. Subsequently, sound measurements were taken at various points distributed across an open hemisphere within an anechoic chamber. These measurements encompassed scenarios involving a single propeller with and without support, as well as two propellers with a frame. The acquired data were processed, compared, and employed to reconstruct the directivity over the entire sphere using spherical harmonics decomposition.
