Abstract
A first search for the lepton flavor violating decays B0→ρτ±e∓ and B0→ρτ±μ∓ with the Belle II detector is presented. A cut based selection as well as a second step selection, using a Boosted Decision Tree, is put forward. The branching ratios are derived from a fit of the τ recoil mass distributions, derived from a Full Event Interpretation algorithm, using 0.5ab−1 of generic Monte Carlo as data. The upper limits on the branching ratios are obtained with the CLs method. For lack of time, the full analysis has been performed only on the ρ0τ+μ−.
