Abstract

The internship report focuses on the in-depth study of controlled dynamic systems, such as motors, robots, drones, satellites, chemical reactors, and other electrical and electronic systems. These systems are modeled using nonlinear differential equations. The approach adopted includes modeling systems as hybrids and analyzing their stability. One of the major difficulties addressed is the estimation of the system state, $x$ from the accessible outputs, $y$, via an observer, an algorithm which must be capable of providing accurate estimates despite uncertainties and measurement errors. Numerical simulations have been carried out to validate the models developed and the control methods implemented, using tools such as Hybrid Toolbox and SOSTOOLS to search for Lyapunov functions. The report also examines various methods for optimizing control parameters and improving the stability of dynamic systems.
