Abstract

Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets (EHSDS) are verified, public documents documents that record the impact of building systems. These FDES are becoming crucial for companies to remain competitive and win tenders, which are tenders, which increasingly take environmental and health impact into account. With this in mind, ETANDEX, a major French company specializing in waterproofing structures, wishes to launch the drafting, verification and publication of EHDSs for the systems of its innovation and processes department: SPPM, the Société Parisienne de Produits et Products and Materials. This report is part of that process. It presents a detailed follow-up to the internship I was able to carry out from May to July 2024 at SPPM. In particular, it outlines the main objective of the internship: the entire process leading up to the publication of the EHDS for the TECTOPROOF CAV45-1 waterproofing coating. The course begins with an introduction to the environment, followed by in-depth work on the life cycle analysis of TECTOPROOF CAV45-1, including numerical modeling using SimaPro eco-design software. This was followed by the complete drafting of the EHSF and the documents required for its validation. By writing a complete “guide” enabling anyone to new EHDSs for other systems, the aim of the course is not just to produce an EHDS FDES, but also the launch of an ongoing effort at SPPM, with the drafting of 5 FDES per year.
