Abstract
Agricultural ecosystems are fragile, but they are also large swathes of land on which human action can be crucial, notably through measures such as planting and protecting rows of hedges. Thanks to widely accessible satellite image banks and deep learning, in this project we are attempting to design and implement techniques for detecting and segmenting hedges from satellite images. The results obtained encourage the continuation of the project, in particular by improving annotation sources and including the temporal dimension in predictions.
