Abstract
As part of solving compressible Euler equations with several materials, we have studied in depth a multi- uid hydrodynamic code. The scheme we will use is of the LagrangeProjection type, it is staggered in time and space. We are interested in di erent methods for the treatment of interfaces. These are the Volume of Fluid and Di use Interface methods, whose performances have already been compared before. Our project also aims at clarifying the known results on the di use interface method with slope-and-bound. Our objective is to establish 2D numerical tools for comparing interfaces. These numerical interface evaluation criteria are applied to common simulations from the litterature using an existing code. We thus observe through these criteria the numerical e ects of the transition to 2D.
