Abstract
During six months between the 2 nd of April and the 28 th of September 2012, I did my internship at Snecma, which is one of the best aircraft and rocket engine manufacturer. I was in the department of methods and specialized in life prediction. This determination can really be complicated, in particular for the case of high-temperature submitted structures like the turbine blades. Indeed it needs some advanced calculation on interaction between fatigue and creep, and some complex behavior laws such as iscoplasticity have to be used. That’s why the time of calculation can be really high in order to modelize engine parts. A new method was developed in the centre des matériaux so as to easily calculate the stress and the strain in critical places without using a really advanced 3D calcul. My objective was to set in place this method in Snecma ans to determinate its domain of application by numerous evaluations.
