Abstract
This report speaks about the creation of a 3D-picture segmentation algorithm. This algorithm must be able to segment 3D-pictures of mice brains, with the intention of a biological study about a possible correlation between mice trisomy and cerebellum volume, without need to dissect these one. With MRI pictures, it’s possible to calculate this volume with an segmentation algorithm. So this report speaks about the realization of the 2D-algorithm (3D-algorithm creation is obvious when we have the 2D-algorithm) with OCaml language. The choice of this language and algorithm realization method is then the subject of a part of thought and amelioration about results quality.
