Abstract
In the electrotechnics field, numerical simulation enables to get very precise information about the dynamic of a system, without having to do any experiments. Therefore, it has a meaningful drawback : computational cost which can be very important because of nonlinearities and a high number of unknowns. To reduce this cost, many model order reduction methods have been developed in other fields as mechanics. Many of them consist in looking for the solution in a reduced space independent of the spatial dimension of the mesh. Other methods focus on computing the solution on only a few mesh points, and then interpolate it over the domain. In this present work, several methods have been developed and compared to a reference finite elements code on two electrotechnics problems. It will be shown that they present robustness on linear problems, but need to be investigated furthermore on nonlinear cases.
