Abstract
With the skyrocketing of Oil & Gas demand last decades, the offshore resources became more and more attractive and their exploitation soared. The sub-sea nature of the concerned fields induces highly sophisticated structures, and therefore high-challenging installation engineering. Singapore, as ASEAN business hub, naturally became the epicentre of offshore energies related activities. This report intends to give an overview of a six-months engineering internship in a transportation and installation department, in Singapore. It has deliberately been kept general in order to show the wideness and the diversity of the projects without overwhelm the reader with irrelevant technical details.
