Abstract
This report presents my results in the study of security and privacy in fitness trackers. An use case is presented in order for the reader to clearly understand the risks in play. This study is based on the study of a Jawbone UP3 and analyzes both communication protocols used, i.e Bluetooth Low Energy and HTTPS. Thanks to various open source tools, I was able to find out many vulnerabilities that need to be fixed in order to safely use these trackers.
