Abstract

In this end-of-studies project report, we present work conducted on Sensorlab 2, an in-the-field Internet of Things experimentation and validation platform developed by Orange Labs. This work mainly consists in setting in-the-field experiments using suitcases geared with radio devices, collecting data obtained by instrumenting the protocol stack running on network nodes, forming a snapshot-based network data representation, developing tools to process and analyse experiment-retrieved data. Networks deployed through in-the-field experiments were 802.15.4 mesh networks based on motes running OpenWSN, an open source protocol stack based on Internet of Things standards.
