This report is a study on an inference engine for a Smart City hypervisor, developed by Actemium Paris Transport. This study investigates existing technologies and algorithms of inference engines, in the context of supervising a city. It implies specific needs namely interfaces between systems based on the business modelling of the project and high possibilities for configuration. The application hypervisor is based on a specific framework developed by Actemium Paris Transport. The software architectures for the inference engine are specific to technical constraints imposed by this framework. Nonetheless, the solution implemented and the perspectives opened by this solution are permitting a more configurable solution, that can be adapted to city supervision but also other projects that are based on a business modelling of the project.
