Abstract
As part of my studies at the ENSTA Paristech, I performed an engineering internship from March 2018 to August 2018. My internship was realized at the company AKKA Technologies, based in Blagnac. The internship took place in AKKA Research at the team Air-Cobot (Aircraft Inspection enhanced by smaRt & Collaborative rOBOT), that is a research and development project of a wheeled collaborative mobile robot able to inspect aircraft during maintenance operations. I was responsible for studying the possibilities of developing a small robotic platform in terms of autonomy, functionality and collaboration with Air-Cobot or a human operator. The most important objectives were the familiarization with the Erle-Rover platform, the setting up of a development and test environment allowing to easily develop on a fixed PC and the development of basic and advanced features such as control of movements, photo and video acquisition and autonomes missions.
