Abstract

In the 30’s, after Dirac discovered his equation, Schrödinger found out surprising consequences. An half spin particle can have a zig-zag behavior at low resolution. This behaviour is called Zitterbewegung which means quake. This behaviour stems from the interference between positive energy probability waves and negative energy probability waves. It also explains the spin of a particle and the magnetic moment of an electron. This behaviour remains only theoretical because it has not been observed yet.
