Abstract
This final year project tries to document the operational compexities and specificities of a contracting authority for the renovation of old industrial land. It is done through the analysis of a case study that concerns the renovation project of the Coop sector in the ZAC Deux-Rives in Strasbourg. The Coop was in the past a distribution company that was completely closed 2014. The point is to try to understand which aspects of the operation management are different in a project of that type comparatively to a project with new constructions and no questions of old or present industrial uses that impact the ground. In a first step, the thesis points out the importance of taking into account the existing in particuliar regarding this projet on the Coop sector. Secondly, this final year project underlines the iterative approach in deciding the programm on the Coop land. Finally, the thesis summarizes the different technical aspects that a contracting authority must do and know when managing a project such as this urban project on the old Coop.
