Abstract

To get the pressures generated by a vibrating plate that obeys Helmholtz equation, a Boundary Element Method is introduced. For three-dimensional radiation of a thin plate, the most difficult part is the hypersingular integral of the representation of the pressures. A means of canceling the divergent terms of the representation is used. Because the calculation cost too much (both time and memory), the correctness and convergence of the method are not verified. For a simplified case of a baffled source, the representation becomes Rayleigh integral. A mesh method and a Quadrature method are introduced.
