Abstract
Significant increase in bandwidth required by clients has driven network operators to start the deployment of optical fiber over their existing copper cables. With the emergence of new design problems, our team proposed their own approach that takes into account the uncertainty in future demand. Thus we've been tasked to develop and test a two-stage robust optimization algorithm solving the FTTH network design problem. Then to implement a heuristic based on properties of stable sets in graphs for real size instances. Keywords : Robust Optimization, Network Design, Mathematical Programming.
