Abstract

The expectations that I had concerning this internship revolved around discovering how TGV maintenance is handled and the possibility of putting into practice my theoretical knowledge. I was welcomed by Mr. L’Arvor in the Technicentre Sud Est Européen. The activity of this site revolves around TGV maintenance et managment of trains that serve the south-eastern part of France as well as neighboring countries. The tasks I was given consisted of assisting the managment of special trains and writing VBA programs that automate repetitive work. During my internship I noticed that the employees of the centre must be rigorous in the information they communicate, otherwise problems can quickly emerge. And to solve the problems that arise, you must have both experience in the field and good reasoning in order to quickly pinpoint the solutions that could work. This internship met my expectations, and allowed me to develop practical and theoretical knowledge.
