Abstract

The two-month study I led in the Axionable’s department of Research and Development is focused on the prediction of “extreme” events in geophysical data. More particularly, my work was concentrated on the study of temperatures at the surface of the Red Sea ( we will use the abbreviation SST in this document for Sea Surface Temperature). The final goal is to be able to predict significant and persistent temperature increases using a large SST dataset with many missing values.
