Abstract
Hydroelectric power production is a really essential low-carbon energy that is also very sensitive to climate. For this reason, RTE wishes to estimate the impact of climate change on this generation, using a statistical model with simulated flows for 2050 matching several climate scenarios. Results showed a local and seasonal impact, without significant effect at annual level. Uncertainties remain however on input data, in particular on dispersion of flows.
