Abstract
We call systematic the uncertainty on a parameter that does not depend on the measurement. In the case of the ENUBET project, the systematics that I considered were the errors on the value of the current crossing a dipole of beamline. This report presents the reasoning developed in order to characterise the effect of these systematics on the energy and the position of particles crossing the beamline. First, this work illustrates how it is possible to build a fit that takes into account these systematics. This fit will reduce their effect on the distributions obtained and thus improve the liability of these distributions. Moreover, it is assumed that these systematics will change the shape of the distributions. However, the nature and the importance of this change is still to be determined. A part of the work presented here is thus to show that, when there is a non negligible change in the value of the magnetic field inside the first dipole, the number of particles detected and their mean energy at the entrance of the decay tunnel will vary.
