Abstract
The objective of this internship was to study a leading subject in computer graphics research, differentiable rendering. The goal of this area of research is to provide 3D renderers that allow the computation of derivatives in order to be integrated into artificial intelligence or optimization pipelines. My research started with the study of the theory behind differentiable renderers and finished with the construction of a functional differentiable rendering prototype on the Qarnot cloud. This internship also allowed me to develop skills such as scientific communication and gave me the opportunity to discover the high-performance computing industry. My work will be presented in an article on the company’s blog.
