Abstract

Deep Inelastic scattering describes a process where a nucleon subjected to a high energy incident virtual photon starts to emit quarks, which in turn provoke a hadron jet i.e. provokes hadronization. Studying those two phenomenons helps in the understanding of nucleon intern structure. We study here the DIS cross sections and use them to refine our knowledge of the fragmentation functions describing the hadron jet.
