Abstract

This report presents the work of a 10-week research internship conducted within the Chair of Space Propulsion at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The objective of this internship was to acquire knowledge about liquid rocket propulsion and the oscillatory behaviors that occur during its operation, followed by the modeling of certain rocket engine components. The goal was to precisely understand the implications and couplings. To simplify the models, a one-dimensional modeling was performed, along with a numerical resolution simplification using the ”Lumped Parameter Method”. An implementation in Python, closely aligned with the models, as well as the launch of numerous simulations, were the ultimate objectives.
