Abstract
This project delves into the realm of sensorimotor contingencies theories, exploring sensor regularity and its implications for the formation of cognitive maps. Through the lens of the Webots simulation platform, we investigate how agents navigate and interact with their environments based on sensorimotor interactions. By examining the interplay between sensory inputs and motor outputs, we unveil how sensor regularity contributes to the construction of cognitive maps, providing insights into spatial cognition and navigation strategies.
