Abstract
The objective was to analyze the evolution of the Chezy and Manning formulas for uniform flows in prismatic channels. A literature review was conducted to understand how the Chezy and Manning coefficients have been determined over time. Advancements include the use of numerical models and more precise data to refine these coefficients, adapting them to real flow conditions. In essence, the internship highlighted the evolution of methods for determining these essential coefficients in hydraulics.
